About Kiera
-
I am a fully qualified Personal Trainer, Zumba Instructor, Diet and Nutritional Advisor and have a BA Honours Degree in Dance.
-
I have always been passionate about leading an active life and looking after my health, fitness and well-being.
-
I’m now keen to develop and use these skills to enable others who want to take action to live and benefit from a healthier and more active lifestyle.
5 Things you should know about me:
1) I’ve been dancing since the age of 3. I was a member of a Youth Dance Company performing contemporary dance and competed both regionally and nationally, before going on to study for a degree in Dance.
2) I was a member of a gymnastics squad for 8 years and competed regularly at county level and also coached up and coming younger gymnasts.
3) At University, when I wasn’t studying and partying, I joined the Bristol University Army Officer Training Corps which took me away on many active weekends. I flew in helicopters, marched over all terrains in all weathers, learnt to handle and fire weapons and took part in combat manoeuvres.
4) I love to push myself – travelling, exploring new places and being active are all hugely important to me. Spending time outdoors hiking and skiing followed by great food are really important to me.
5) My guilty pleasure is a passion for 80’s music, especially Abba….
Mission:FIIT’s aim is to help women, of all ages, gain confidence, motivation and improve fitness levels
My business is all about trying to help people. Sometimes I can't directly support everyone I'd like to, so I've chosen to indirectly support others by donating money from my classes and various activities to different charities.
