About us at Mission:FIIT in East Sussex

Women’s fitness and wellbeing are our main focuses and our mission is to help you gain confidence, motivation and feel good about yourself again. We know what it’s like to have insecurities about our bodies and we can work with you either through our range of classes or bespoke personal training.

About Kiera

  • I am a fully qualified Personal Trainer, Zumba Instructor, Diet and Nutritional Advisor and have a BA Honours Degree in Dance.

  • I have always been passionate about leading an active life and looking after my health, fitness and well-being.

  • I’m now keen to develop and use these skills to enable others who want to take action to live and benefit from a healthier and more active lifestyle.

5 Things you should know about me:

1) I’ve been dancing since the age of 3. I was a member of a Youth Dance Company performing contemporary dance and competed both regionally and nationally, before going on to study for a degree in Dance.

2) I was a member of a gymnastics squad for 8 years and competed regularly at county level and also coached up and coming younger gymnasts.

3) At University, when I wasn’t studying and partying, I joined the Bristol University Army Officer Training Corps which took me away on many active weekends. I flew in helicopters, marched over all terrains in all weathers, learnt to handle and fire weapons and took part in combat manoeuvres.

4) I love to push myself – travelling, exploring new places and being active are all hugely important to me. Spending time outdoors hiking and skiing followed by great food are really important to me.

5) My guilty pleasure is a passion for 80’s music, especially Abba….

Mission:FIIT’s aim is to help women, of all ages, gain confidence, motivation and improve fitness levels

My business is all about trying to help people. Sometimes I can't directly support everyone I'd like to, so I've chosen to indirectly support others by donating money from my classes and various activities to different charities.

  • In June 2020  I walked, cycled and ran 500km in just over 30 days and raised £530 for Trekstock Young Adult Cancer Support Charity.

  • In September 2021 I organised a fantastic charity Zumbathon at The East Sussex National Hotel and raised £650 for the Brain Tumour Charity (BTC).

  • The following March I jointly hosted a very successful charity football match and bake sale and raised a huge £1400!

  • In November 2022 I trekked 100km through the Sahara Desert in 5 days and managed to raise a huge £5110 for the BTC.

  • This September I hosted another charity Zumbathon event raising money for Guy's Cancer Charity by abseiling down St Thomas' Hospital in London. I managed to raise £350. The charity helps enhance lives and supporting the people behind every moment of progress through its research.

Our Next Charity Challenge!

My Dad and I will be taking on the scary challenge of skydiving on 11th May 2024! We will be jumping out of a plane from over 15,000ft raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Right now, more than 3 million people are living with cancer in the UK. By 2030 this figure will rise to 4 million.

Macmillan are here to help everyone with cancer live life to the fullest, by providing physical, financial and emotional support.

Macmillan’s doing whatever it takes. But without your help, Macmillan can’t support everyone who needs them.

Please help us by supporting this important charity
